Updates to our aircraft
Both inside and out, we’re gradually refreshing our aircraft to give flying with us a more uniform look and feel across the entire fleet. We’ve painted the exterior of Airbus planes with the Alaska brand and logo, and made updates to the interiors. Read on to learn about the aircraft changes you can expect see.
We're retrofitting our Airbus cabins.
With our newly refurbished Airbus aircraft, updates include new Recaro leather seats with tablet holders and power outlets, First Class seats with foot rests, the addition of Premium Class seating, our new satellite Wi-Fi, and furnishings with a new, modern, West Coast vibe. We’ve renumbered Airbus seat rows to make them similar to our other aircraft, which should help lessen confusion when we need to switch the aircraft assigned for a certain flight.
Our Boeing 737-700s are getting a facelift
We’ve retrofitted our 737-700 aircraft with new Recaro seats with power outlets and tablet holders, and First Class seats with footrests. Premium Class seating was added, and the interior furnishings reflect the West Coast vibe as well. The new cabins have 12 First Class, 18 Premium Class, and 94 Main Cabin seats. Next, we’ll start adding our new satellite Wi-Fi to the fleet, work which will continue through the end of 2019.
