What are discount and companion fare codes?

Discount codes

Discount codes are used to reduce the fare of applicable new ticket purchases and can be redeemed during their offer period at alaskaair.com, the Alaska Airlines mobile app and EasyBiz^®. Discount codes cannot be redeemed after the offer period expires, and are forfeited if the ticket is changed or canceled.

Companion fare codes

Companion fare codes are unique discount codes that are issued annually to the following eligible cardholders. There may be an annual spend requirement. They cannot be transferred or redeemed by anyone other than the cardholder, and expire if not used within a year of issuance.

Where to find discount and companion fare codes.

Discount codes may be included in your Insider Newsletter, Mileage Plan™ correspondence, social media, e-mail, direct mail, special advertisements and marketing campaigns, or via promotional partners. Some discount codes, such as companion fare codes which are issued to eligible cardholders, are stored in your account profile.

How to use discount and companion fare codes.

To redeem a discount code, type the code in the field marked Discount or companion fare code on the booking form where you select travel cities and dates.
