Once you have earned the base points needed to maintain your status, it will extend beyond the first 90 days like this:

• If you start your status match challenge by June and meet the requirements, you'll keep your status through the end of the calendar year.
• If you start your status match between July and December and meet the requirements, you'll keep your status through the end of the next calendar year.

In order to keep your status after the initial 90-day period, you'll need to fly on flights marketed by Alaska Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines and operated by Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Horizon or SkyWest during that initial 90-day period. Codeshare flights operated by other airlines, flights on Alaska Global Partners, award travel, and bonus points do not count toward keeping your status.
